$252,223 towards $225,000

Thank you for all the ways you support generative somatics (gs)!

In 2016---

  • gs engaged 600+ leaders from 50+ powerful movement organizations. We are proud be a part of movements that envision and create new means of safety and accountability, practice interdependence, and build dignified and thriving communities. Check out our year-end video below.
  • gs aimed to raise $225,000 in individual donations and have 100 members of #TeamResilience. As of 12/31/16, we raised $227,000 and had 78 members of #TeamResilience*.

Thank you for continuing to help make gs a strong and sustainable organization as we enter 2017 together!

To sustain and grow this work, gs depends on many people contributing a wide range of resources - time, energy, skills, wisdom, spirit, and partnership. One critical resource gs also depends on is: money.

Please Consider what a centered, bold and meaningful contribution could be for you. No amount is too small to have an impact!

*Please also consider joining -- #TeamResilience! An important part of organizational sustainability is having regular, dependable income. That's why we're asking you to consider joining #TeamResilience - a team of donors who commit to sustain gs by donating on a regular - monthly, quarterly or annual - basis. We invite you to join #TeamResilience as a part of being on Path with gs. An addition to your ongoing personal practices. A way to embody what so many of us love about somatics-- practicing resilience and helping gs be self-generative!

Every donation goes a long way!

  • Donations allow gs to make programs accessible to innovative movement leaders; to poor and working class communities and communities of color; and to choose partnerships based on alignment with our values and strategy, not on financial capacity.
  • Donations support gs to build the strong and sustainable organization we need to meet the expressed desire for our work in social and environmental justice movements.
  • And, finally, contributions from individuals give gs capacity to go beyond our traditional programming, to take risks, experiment, and innovate -- further developing theory and practice for the integration of embodied leadership, trauma healing, political education and community organizing

Please be a part of sustaining and growing this work - join #TeamResilience or make a one-time donation today!
