Greetings All,
I'm excited to announce that I've been accepted into generative somatics (gs) is Embodied Leadership for Social Justice Series in Detroit, Michigan May 18-21, 2017, and August 17-20, 2017.
The Embodied Leadership (EL) courses are designed for social and environmental justice organizers, activists, movement builders, politicized healers and practitioners who are looking to build their leadership, heal from trauma, and organize for community power.
For those that know, and many that may not, in the recent years, I have shifted my focus to assist people who have lost blood related or fictive kin siblings to violent crime. Work, I'm taking further in the coming months.
My next steps require tools to truly understand how trauma, and oppression shape us, and to further develop my leadership skills so that I may adequately, perform the work necessary to transform society, and to ensure I'm caring for myself in the process.
I humbly ask for you support to cover my tuition cost for both sessions of the training: May 18-21, 2017, and August 17-20, 2017
